Still waking up at 3 a.m.?

Your bedroom isn't quiet. That's why you can't stay asleep.

Traffic. The neighbor's dog. Footsteps upstairs. The person breathing next to you. Every one of them is a small wake-up, and by morning they add up to a night that didn't count. Steady sound covers them. The problem is what you've been using to make it.

White noise machine or app

The same 20 seconds, all night.

A speaker playing a recording of a fan. Most of them loop, and somewhere in the loop is a seam. Once you've heard it, you hear it every time.

Box fan

Wop wop wop wop.

Real sound, but open blades slap the air on every pass. Your brain keeps the beat, even asleep, and notices when it changes.

Spin360, speeds 6 to 9

Shhhhhhhhhhhhhh.

A blade built to move air smoothly instead of chopping it. No beat, no loop, no seam. Real sound from real air, like wind on a windowsill.

The sound

White noise made by real air, not a speaker.

Spin360 is the fan, built for the sound. The blade moves air smoothly instead of chopping it, so you hear a steady shh with no beat in it. The air goes out all around the room, which means you get the sound without a stream in your face. Pick the speed that covers your night and leave it on.

And the AC, the air purifier, the earplugs?

People run all of them for the hum. None was built for it. The AC cycles on and off, so the sound cuts out right as you drift off. An air purifier is a small fan behind a filter, with the same chop, and most change speed on their own. Earplugs fall out by 2 a.m. and block the alarm along with the dog. Spin360 is built to make one steady sound and hold it all night.

How it feels

Fewer wake-ups. A whole night of sleep. A better day.

Man sleeping deeply with Spin360 at the foot of the bed

Fall asleep to a steady shh.

It covers the last thing keeping you up. No beat, no loop, nothing for your brain to follow.

Woman resting comfortably with Spin360 beside the bed

The dog at 3 a.m. stays under the sound.

Steady sound doesn't flinch when the house does. The wake-ups stop stacking up.

Spin360 on a nightstand next to the bed

A soft breeze around the room, not at you.

Nobody gets blasted. Nobody gets the stuffy side.

Speeds 1 to 5 for the quiet nights.

34 dB on low. For when the street is quiet, or for the partner who can't sleep with a fan.

From the founder

The Shark Wheel inventor can't sleep without it anymore.

"People sleep with a fan on just for the sound, and a regular fan gives them wop wop wop wop all night. We do not do that. Settings six through nine is that wonderful, pure, shh kind of noise, so you fall asleep and you stay asleep. And the whole time, the air in the room is moving all around you. You'd swear the walls were removed and your bed is outside." David Patrick, founder of Spin360

FAQ

Before you order

Is this a white noise machine or a fan?

It's a fan built for the sound. A white noise machine plays a recording through a speaker. Spin360 makes the sound the way a fan does, by moving air, but its blade moves air smoothly instead of chopping it, so you get a steady shh with no beat and no loop. On speeds 1 to 5 it's near-silent. On 6 to 9 it's the sound.

Will it cover traffic, a snoring partner, the neighbor's dog?

On speeds 6 to 9 it makes a full, steady sound, the kind people run a box fan for, without the chop. Most people find 6 or 7 covers a normal night and go higher for a loud street. We don't publish a volume number for those speeds, so if your nights are very loud, sleep with it for 30 nights. If it doesn't cover them, send it back.

Does it blow on me all night?

No. The air comes in from two directions and goes out all around the drum, so it's a soft breeze moving around the room, not a stream at your face. You can put it across the room and still get the sound.

Which speed do people sleep on?

If you want the sound, most people land on 6 or 7. If your partner wants quiet, 3 or 4 moves the air without a sound you'll notice. You can leave any speed on all night, or set the timer.

Will my partner hear it?

On speeds 1 to 5, no. That's 34 dB on low, quieter than a library. On 6 to 9 they'll hear a soft shh, which is the point.

Can I use it in winter?

Yes. With the heat on, the warm air stacks up at the ceiling and the room goes stuffy. Spin360 pulls it back down and keeps the air moving, so you get the sound and an even room all year. In summer it cools the room the same way.

Does it clean or purify the air?

No. It moves the air you already have. It doesn't filter it.

Returns and warranty?

30-day returns and a 1-year warranty. Sleep with it for a month. If your nights aren't better, send it back.

Real sound. No speaker. No chop.

A steady shh made by moving air, a soft breeze around the room, both sides of the bed. The street stays outside.
