How loud is it?

Speeds 1 to 5 are near-silent — owners describe 1–4 as silent and 5–7 as a whisper. From 6 to 9 you get soft white noise, closer to a normal fan on low. The listed figure is 34 dB. Quiet is the single most common thing owners say about it: 179 reviews mention it, and 80% of those are five stars.

Does it cool the room?

No, and we won’t pretend otherwise. It doesn’t make cold air and it isn’t an air conditioner. It moves the air you already have, so a room with a cold corner and a hot corner evens out. If you’re shopping for something to replace an AC, this isn’t it — that’s the single biggest reason people send one back.

How big is it, really?

350 × 350 mm at the base, 5.6 kg, and 1.71 to 3.54 ft tall depending on how many extension poles you use. It stands about as tall as a side table at its shortest and about chair-back height at full extension.

Will it blow in my face?

Not the way a box fan does. Air leaves the top and spreads outward rather than firing straight ahead, which is why owners who “hate fans” tend to get along with this one. It also means the breeze at fifteen feet is gentle — if you want a hard jet of air on you, you want a different fan.

Does it have to sit in the middle of the room?

No. It throws air out in a full circle, so unlike a fan you have to aim, it doesn’t need to face anything. Owners run them beside a bed, next to a desk, in a corner of the living room. Give it a bit of clearance on all sides and it does the same job wherever it stands.

Can I use it outside, on a covered porch?

Treat it as an indoor fan. There’s no outdoor or weather rating listed for it, so if you put it on a covered porch, keep it out of rain and damp.

Why is it $189 when a fan is $40?

Fair question, and it’s the second most common one we get. It’s a 9-speed circulator rather than a blade pointed at you: fully enclosed blades, a touch panel and remote, poles that take it from 1.71 to 3.54 ft, a top grille built to take a scent pod, and a 12-month warranty. It’s $189.99 against a $299 list. If a $40 box fan aimed at one chair does what you need, buy the box fan — plenty of owners say they tried that first.

Is there a ceiling-fan version?

No. It’s the most asked-for thing under the videos, and there isn’t one. What you can do is stand this where a ceiling fan would have gone — several owners bought it because they couldn’t install one.

Do the scent pods actually work?

They’re a real thing and they’re not a diffuser. A pod sits on the top grille and the airflow carries it around the room instead of leaving it in one corner. Honest caveats: they’re strongest for about the first ten days, and roughly a quarter of the scent reviews say the smell is too faint for them. Three scents: Citrus Sandalwood, Soft Florals, Sunlit Citrus. $12 each, $36 for all three. They’re non-returnable.

Can I use my own essential oils?

Yes, but not on the fan’s plastic. Oils eat it — an early version’s plastic cup was ruined by clove oil. Put the oil in a small glass dish on the top grille, or use your own diffuser, candle warmer or incense low beside the fan. The top well is for pods only.

What about the light?

There’s an ambient light on the pole.

What does shipping cost, and can I send it back?

Shipping is free over $200, which the fan-and-pods set clears. Under that, it’s calculated at checkout. You have 30 days from delivery to start a return. It can be used, but it has to come back in good condition with all the parts and the original packaging, and return shipping isn’t free — so keep the box until you’re sure.

Will it run on 220V?

The store doesn’t list an international voltage spec. If you’re outside the US, check with support before ordering.
